Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Bottle 3/6. Decanted an hour ahead and was just opening as we sat down. This bottle was a little less hedonistic and a little more classic than others recently. Pipe tobacco, hint of emerging leather, morelo cherry, medium to long finish. Don’t remember this vintage’s blend but the cabernet franc is coming out quite strongly at 15 years with some classic green notes. 94+
