Thursday, October 3, 2013 - Deep ruby color. Nose of cherries, blueberries, some dried fruits and some cedar wood. On the palate there are notes of dark fruits again, some tobacco, herbs and some dried fruit again as well as some licorice. Medium-full body, with medium and medium-low tannin, it has a still pretty remarkable structure for an aged wine in this price-range. Medium length. When i first pulled the "cork" and realized it was synthetic, I thought it might be over the hill... But it's still in perfect condition. A very good Garnacha from old vines at a very affordable price. (89+)
