Monday, March 2, 2020 - Leap Day dinner Trelio's (Clovis Ca.): Open in bottle for an hour then took to dinner...wow this is rich and buttery! Classic Coche reduction smoky flint strike that was nuanced and integrated well all through the night...intense lemon acidity, dried honey, lees...totally lifted and light on its feet with the vibrant citrus and minerality. The palate was more subtle than the nose would suggest...wonderful florals and chalky minerals...this just kept drinking better an better till the end! Incredible bottle!
