Monday, November 9, 2020 - Red currant, lead pencil, sweet oiled leather and deeply ripe black fruit on the nose. Dark, bold, velvety wine with subdued tannins and layers of fruit with a hint of vanilla & oak. Drank straight from the bottle without decanting - incredible wine that likely could go for a number of years. Really impressive wine at this time - anything under the Harlan umbrella should be sought out. Quite impressive with a Hawaiian NY strip.
