Monday, January 24, 2022 - Little or no ullage but the cork was very crumbly. The nose had the characteristic peppermint nose with a hint of blackberry and pronounced cigar box. The palate was very Bordeaux like showing leather and background spice. A lovely balance was the hallmark. This wine shows how long lived Coonawarra Cabernet can be from a notably superior vintage.
