If you closed your eyes and swallowed, you might think this wine was from France. Very dark in color. Rich and complete on the nose with deep dark cherry, refined oak, maybe some graphite. Because of the Bordeaux blend, there is a complexity from the front to the back. Strong mid palate. Lots of blackberry fruit. Silky tannins. Balanced. Maybe a touch too much oak. Dry black cherry finish.
