Saturday, February 16, 2013 - A very good surprise. Still full of life with a very nice nose of wild cherry, strawberry and flowers. Shows a little bit of age as well not surprisingly and damp earth notes. There's a whiff of oak on the nose that you will also find on the palate but only on the texture side. Seems to show a little more dense darker fruits on the palate. Dusty tannins and very good acidity.
Overall a very good Mercurey which aged beautifully.
