Monday, February 24, 2014 - Delightful Nebbiolo, lighter in style, but still expressive and full of character. Classic roses and tar nose with black cherry violets and varnish to round things out. Palate shows cherry and plums with a smoky gaminess and a finish of mocha on the back palate. Tannins pleasantly grippy, acidity and fruit still there. I would say this is drinking at its peak, perfect blend of complexity and fruit. Great value for money.
