Wednesday, November 22, 2017 - A lot to like regarding the dark fruit and some decent underlying complexity but the abrasive tannins on the finish temper my enthusiasm. Definitely better with food than as a sipper. Nose in the decanter upon opening was heavenly led by dark fruit aromas. Maybe a super long decanting would allow it to come together or just another 2006 vintage cab with tougher tannin profile.
