Friday, December 25, 2009 - What can you say about Carlisle zins? They always seem to deliver. Big and bold brambly flavors but also a "freshness" that really defines their wines to me. Great baking spices as well and very smooth. Great wine, but I think I prefer the 2007 Papera Ranch bottling just a bit more.
