Friday, January 15, 2010 - 14.8% alcohol. Lovely wine, just like all the 2007s from Carlisle. Big, briary nose of blue and black fruits, with a slight hint of oak. In the mouth, just beautiful and pure, with big fruit all the way. Solid acidity and a deliciously long finish. Sure, it's young and still a bit tight, but this is awesome stuff. A-
