Monday, April 19, 2010 - Really pleased with this wine, although I would hold addl bottles for another year or two. Bright, purple color, and a fragrant nose of dark fruit, brambly spices, with a hint of baking spice. A little lighter on its feet than I expected (medium-to-full bodied) with lively flavors that were not deep and complex but delicious nevertheless, showing blackberries and a hint of baked piecrust. Developed some earthiness over time, but held its balance all night.
