Friday, October 1, 2010 - What a scrumptous nose. Pretty much pop and pour. Blackberry, juniper berry, crushed high-mountain flowers, dirt and cedar bark. Brought to mind the freshness and fruit of a high mountain berry patch. In the mouth, the briary elements came across more strongly up front, followed by blackberry, then back to the briar and brambles with dark orange/red fruit and plenty of acidity. This gets even better in 2 years.
