Not my fave Carlisle vyd (Montafi is ), but a really fine, almost profound Zin (What?? Can a Zin be thus???) red wine. A bit red-ish for my tastes, but ready to go 5 years on, with a huge nose balanced by huge lingering finish (such a surprise...as if...). A balanced, great wine...so be it. It'll be great in '20 (13 years), as my '01 and '02 CSquares have been great with similar times in cellar this past year.
