Sunday, May 11, 2014 - Is it fair to use the word "classic" when labeling something not that widely tasted? Who knows. This was a great expression of RRV Zin because of its balance. Fresh acidity offseting purple/black fruit, with dusty earth in the background. A food friendly wine and very engaging. Frankly, the bottle performing almost like a Right Bank Bdx in terms of the evolution in glass we got through the dinner. While always having depth it changed and showed nuances and different front notes. A lot of fun and extremely well made. One more in the cellar, will look to enjoy no later than 1-2 years from now, don't want to miss this window.
