Friday, January 20, 2017 - Medium reddish garnet in color with slight clearing at the edges. Fragrant, attractive & forward nose of ripe red fruits aromas of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with spice overtones of cloves & nutmeg, earthy/dusty, some floral notes of violets, cherry-cola & a touch of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, elegant, ripe fruit flavors of sweet red cherries, strawberries & blueberries with spices, cherry cola, earthiness & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & may be at or close to its peak of development at 10 years of age.
