This turned into a really elegant, fruity and well rounded wine. On the nose it still has a touch of earth, floral and red fruit. On the palate, this is smooth with good fruit but not a ton of it, a touch of mineral and mocha on the finish. Medium finish. We've never really focused on old world Syrah, but Drew claims that's what they are trying for. If this is old world style syrah, we'll be expanding our buying. Enjoyed this one.
