Friday, February 21, 2020 - Medium purple-red color with some sediment thrown. Nose of spicy red and black fruits. Rich taste of blackberry, gooseberry, tart red currant, wet stone. Solid tannic structure despite its age. Plenty of life left in this lovely Daniel Baron joint, one of the great California merlots.
