Monday, April 4, 2011 - Dark wine with a big nose, double decanted. A multilayered wine with all of the markings of a top tier wine. You could tell this was an off year because there was something that just didn't quite work in the wine. Smokey dark berries, oak, earth, and a touch espresso. It was like eating at an incredible restaurant where the food wasn't quite as good as usual but you could still see the brilliance. Long lasting finish.
