Saturday, April 14, 2012 - Pure black fruits and blackberry liqueur predominate on the nose and palate, with a hint of olive developing with air. The wine was oaky at first, but it receded into the fruit as the wine opened. Plush, silky texture and fine tannins coat the mouth. Not the most complex wine, but the high quality of the fruit and the lovely mouthfeel make it an outstanding wine.
