Friday, October 5, 2018 - Tasted alongside 2 other Syrah wines - 2007 Morgan Syrah, 2008 Dehlinger Goldridge. This was the best of the three. It was purple fading into garnet. Smells of bacon, pepper and blackberry compote. Very nice wine. I may be tempted to try some younger Cali Syrah to see where these came from.
