Sunday, October 14, 2018 - Very prominent blackberry on the nose, with undertones of eucalyptus, leather, and spice. Palate was juicy blackberry and ripe fig, with noticeable acidity (high % of Grenache?) and some light earthiness and a hint of ash. The finish was surprisingly long, helped, no doubt, by the acidity. Not a hugely complex wine, but delicious at 11 years of age nonetheless!
