Needing only a short time in the decanter, this is fully mature, and probably will need to be enjoyed over the next 5 years to have it at its peak. Packed with chocolate, blackberry, and raspberry with hints of cedar, the tannin is sweet and everything is well balanced, and really could be mistaken for a wine a decade older. To nit pick, the finish is not quite up there with the rest of the experience, and is on the leaner side.
