87 Points

Monday, August 5, 2013 - Mahogany garnet appearance, bricking at the rim. Mature, almost cooked aromas of dried cherries, cranberries, leather, must, toast, and tamarind. The palate was crisp and minerally, tart and saucy, but the fruit was worn, with hints of cherries, red berries, and red plums giving way to lime citrus, a touch of spice, and a smack of (volatile?) acidity that lingered through the finish. Past its prime - it tasted older than its age would suggest, but still has redeemable qualities. I liked it for its old wine characteristics.
