Saturday, March 30, 2024 - So I bought a cellar; 11/12/2022-12/31/2030: My second experience with this wine. Opened at home with a Durand to make sure the bottle is good and double decant to remove sediment. Cork is in great shape, maybe 1/3 saturated. Poured a small taste. Nose of wet stone, mushrooms, olive brine, and slight barnyard. But mature red fruit mixed with a bit of leather and mushroom on the palate, soft to no tannins, and delicious. I’m excited to watch this one a little closer than when I served it at a blind dinner and experience it.

As the night went on, this only improved. In a perfect spot. Beautiful red fruit, integrated tannins, and WOTN for many against a stacked competition. Drink up and enjoy.
