Tuesday, October 2, 2018 - A surprisingly youthful showing - there's lots of power and richness here, with dense red and black fruit, layers of tobacco, graphite, cedar, and more exotic spicy and floral notes, but there's a lot of structure apparent here with firm, slightly grainy tannin dominating the palate, and this particular bottle still seemed years away from maturity. Impressive, but at this time it still seemed to have a lot in reserve.
