Friday, June 14, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Incredible focused energetic nose displaying pure yellow citrus fruit, lemon curd, candied lemon zest, granny smith, honeysuckle, acacia, a hint of spearmint, beeswax, sea breeze, cool mountain stream, spicy spices and limestone. Exceptional balance and precision, layers upon layers of concentrated yellow citrus fruit, laser like focus, exceptional energy and freshness, bright acidity, strong limestone mineral and a long slightly coiled yellow citrus fruit driven finish with flower and mineral at the end. Drinking magnificently.
