Sunday, September 16, 2012 - Excellent. This is an Aussie Shiraz that is not a fruit bomb. It has a mineral element to it as well as gravel wrapped up with blueberries, plum, tar, and spice. Must be the french influence from Chapoutier. Would agree with CMz regarding tastiong notes. As well as that this wine is very young. After being opened for 2 1/2 hours it was just starting to hit its stride. At which time, of course, we had finished the bottle!
