Saturday, May 28, 2011 - Double decanted for 2 hours. Nose dominated by barnyard and briar patch aromas with some red fruit behind it. On the palate, there is leather, tobacco, sour cherries and some stewed meat. Medium-long finish. Very enjoyable traditional style Rioja. This wine has renewed my interest in tempranillo.
