Monday, January 13, 2014 - Terroir-istes International - France, Bordeaux, Pessac-Leognan Blanc, Part 1 (Rodwell House): Mid straw to light-gold, the nose shows signs of development with Sotolon, barley sugar and cooked oranges.
Possibly oxidation continues onto the palate, but the acid is lively, and the fruits are tangerine peel and ripe melon.
A potentially good wine let down by overdeveloped characters that finish in burnt sugar and some sweet notes.
