Friday, February 5, 2010 - This is what OR pinot should be. Rich, spicy, funky...nose had mixture of strawberries and all manner of barnyard aspects. Loads of plum in this one on the palate. In the spirit of the best pinots, changed visibly over time becoming more minerally and herbal. A great wine from one of my favorite OR wineries. And absolutely perfect with duck breasts stuffed with chanterelle mushrooms.
