Thursday, March 10, 2022 - Double decanted 2 hours before dinner; another spectacular showing! Deep garnet with some bricking. Classic, mature GPL bouquet, with scents of dried plums, cassis, earth, leather, and black truffle. Medium bodied, ripe and almost fully resolved tannins, with great balance and delineation. Long and savory finish. What a wine!
