Friday, June 17, 2016 - Very nice Super Tuscan blend. Nose, definitely cherry, sort of a dark and maraschino blend, some spice comes through also.
Palate was delicious, still took a little time to open up, 20 min or so in the glass, great balance, with notes of chocolate, spice and fruit. Finishes smooth with good length, giving the tongue much to savor.
I sort of forgot I had this, and thought it might be past due for drinking. Well drank this over 4 days, using vacuum cork. The last day it flattened out (last glass) otherwise it held up nicely. Given the color (red going toward brown) if you have any of the 2005 vintage, drink now!!
