Thursday, November 8, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Massive scale nose displaying intense jammy black fruit, blackberry liqueur, blueberry liqueur, black cherry, ink, cinnamon, nutmeg and iron mineral. Excellent concentration, densely packed jammy black fruit, bright acidity, strong steely mineral, a hint of fine tannins and a long intense jammy black fruit driven finish. It is a bit our of place. Still need another decade to reach the peak.
