Sunday, February 26, 2023 - Deep ruby, some browning. Lovely aromatic nose. Plenty dark blackcurrant, red plum. Dark smoky traces, tobacco, backed up by a gamey venison side order. Plenty acidity, tannins really well resolved but still a solid backbone. Plenty complexity, medium plus length. Highly enjoyable. Did the long decant recommended on the label and it really worked.
