Saturday, March 15, 2014 - Popped and poured at home with guests over pizza and Mediterranean food. Decanted 40 minutes. Very nice nose with berry, cherry and flower (violet) notes and a bit of earth. On the palate not quite as good, but by no means bad. Good fruit with some cherry, some truffle/earth, maybe camphor, definitely some astringency. Light/medium bodied. Long finish which helped score. This might be a bit closed still. Could definitely see it improving.
