Sunday, August 5, 2007 - Nose of ripe fruit, almost stewed. Very concentrated/extracted dark berry flavors, black and blue berries, bing cherry notes. Tannins are still very tight and this wine needed lots of time in the glass to calm down. I would reccomend decanting if possible. Lush mouthfeel with a very long smooth and rich finish. Expensive for Lodi Zin, but, as good a zin as is coming from anywhere.
