Saturday, December 24, 2011 - Dark, opaque purple color; full body, thick texture . Lots of smoke, asphalt, cassis, and cedar on the nose, that lead to plum, black cherry, dark berries, spice and cocoa on the palate. Smooth, rich, and easy drinking with a rounded tannic structure. Very nice lingering finish of spicy cocoa.
