Friday, February 3, 2012 - [Note: drank half-bottle format, popped and poured]
Vary dark purple color; full body, thick texture. Heavy on the tongue. Tons of oak. Some smoke and cassis on the nose. On the palate tastes of plum, blackberry, cherry, vanilla. Was very smooth and well integrated. Tannins were fairly balanced. Nice wine!
