Thursday, June 21, 2012 - Opened 3 hrs, then decanted, drank over the next hour. Dark purple color, no signs of ageing. Nose is somewhat restrained, but shows plum, and dark berries. The tannins are well integrated and the velvety tannins show through (tasted throughout and the 3 hours really helped smoothen the wine). Not much of a finish, which is why I don't score higher.
