Friday, December 1, 2017 - Kelly, Kevin, RJ and Tom's excellent NYC adventure; 12/1/2017-12/3/2017 (New York City): Intense youthful rich nose displaying decadent black fruits, dry cherry, blackberry jam, a hint of dry fig, licorice, caramel, tar, iron, baking spices, balsamico and earthy mineral. Excellent concentration, packed decadent dry cherry and dry fig driven palate impression, bright acidity, strong earthy mineral and a long dry cherry and licorice driven finish. This is a big scale deeply toned wine. Drinking beautifully in a very youthful way but will improve for another decade or two.
