Monday, March 18, 2024 - Nose: Iodine, Apricot, Molasses and some brown butter notes. Palate: Silky red berry fruit with brown butter, clove, tarragon and cigar wrapper notes. Lot of glycerin holding this together, and sweet cedar.
For my palate this was much more faded than the Beychevelle beside it, but still a really nice wine that demonstrates the pretty and seductive nature of the 1929's.
