Incredibly pleasant sweet aromas of cranberry, vanilla, raisins and some licorice. Full body with a fantastic balance. Concentrated flavors of ripe grapes, plums, and prunes. Long finish, with a really good after taste. Overall a heavy weight wine, not the most complex wine, but one that provides everything needed in a very solid way. I believe the wine is mature now, or very close to its peak. Feels as if it could keep for many more years though.
