Friday, August 18, 2023 - Decanted at 3 pm an drunk from 7.30 or so. Silky. elegant and fragrant, but not really exciting. Absurdly enough I actually preferred the glass I had when decanting, with its extremely fine-grained sediment that gave it a sort of texture supplementing the smoothness of the aged wine. Still I love this kind of human scale nebbiolo. It is, however, too tannic to really compare with pinot noir. I think I would try without decanting for my last bottle.
