Tuesday, October 3, 2023 - A little reductive smoke on opening followed by sweet lime and lanolin. Still quite fresh, hasn't developed to Bickfords lime cordial yet but it's on the journey with some weight and texture developing in balance to the taut acid.
A lovely wine but the price for current vintages of this wine have gotten excessive. There's very good Clare Valley Riesling for about a third of what Grosset Polish Hill now costs so I'm happy to score the wine well but the QPR is poor and I couldn't recommend buying it.
