Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over two hours.

Dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of lavender, Kirsch, roasted meat, camphor and black currants. Flavors of black currants, plums, dried black berries and black raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Decant only for sediment. We brought this bottle home with us direct from the winery. Provenance is impeccable. This bottle was pristine.
