Tuesday, October 27, 2020 - Soft nose of liquorice, plum, violet, and forest floor. Palate shows an intense blackberry flavour, with firm acidity and lots of soft tannin. I raved about this wine when I tasted it in 2013. It's still drinking well, but the flavour is less complex. There's just blackberry; all the more subtle flavours have faded. Decanting makes the wines seem more oxidised, and doesn't bring out any new flavours.
