Saturday, November 3, 2007 - At Mark's Las Olas w Steve & Joyce Rapaport, Justin & Janet Mannes, and Marlene Beck. Followed the 02 Turley Pesenti. The Mannes, Steve and Ellen preferred the Turley. I preferred the Le Desir, for its herbal more austere finish, and obvious potential. The nose is still restrained. I double decanted the wine, and used the Vinturi aerator on half the bottle, as I wasn't satisfied with the unaerated wine, nor the fully aerated sample. I think this was the best balanced approach. Will wait at least a year to try the next one.
