Tuesday, February 26, 2002 - Very pure and focused aromas and flavors in a solid Burgundy. The 1998 Beaune wines were not stand-outs in the tasting. Tasted with Jacques Lardiere (the Jadot winemaker) at a local French restaurant. To start we tasted 14 barrel samples of 2000-2001 wines before moving into the bottled wines.
