Monday, November 14, 2022 - As good as 30 year old Chardonnay can be. Bottle purchased from winery and recorked. Straw color with some yellow and no oxidative hue. Alluring nose of perfect fruit with vanilla notes and light toast. Elegant ample fruit on palate with layers of depth, long finish and good acid. Nice secondary flavors developing. Not past it’s prime , but not sure why you wouldn’t drink now. This wine is singing
